Delete your FriendChef account and data
Last updated: August 14, 2026
This signed-out page explains how FriendChef users can request deletion of account-linked cloud data. It is separate from the authenticated in-app deletion flow that FriendChef should provide before production release.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@monkwehstudios.com with the subject line "FriendChef Data Deletion Request".
Include the display name used in FriendChef and any other details that help Monkweh Studios identify your app profile. Do not send passwords, Firebase tokens, payment details, private keys, sensitive personal documents, or authentication codes.
Monkweh Studios may request limited information needed to verify that the requester controls the account before processing the deletion.
In-app deletion
FriendChef should also provide an authenticated in-app deletion action for signed-in users. That action should require explicit confirmation, delete account-linked cloud data through a server-side operation, fail closed if deletion cannot be verified, and show a successful deleted response only after completion.
What can be deleted
Monkweh Studios will delete or anonymize FriendChef cloud records tied to the identified app profile where technically possible, including profile data, recipes, pantry items, saved recipes, notes, meal plans, shopping items, household records owned by the profile, community posts, comments, likes, follows, and food-exchange listings.
Some local-only data may remain on devices until the app is uninstalled or local storage is cleared.
What may be retained
Monkweh Studios may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or app integrity. Retained records should be minimized and deleted when no longer needed.
Timeline
Deletion requests are reviewed after Monkweh Studios receives enough information to identify the relevant FriendChef profile.
