Delete your Sounra account

Delete from the app

In Sounra, open Profile, choose Account & Data, then choose Delete account. Confirm the request with your password. Sounra will show a confirmation only after the deletion service reports that cleanup is complete.

Request deletion without the app

Email support@monkwehstudios.com from the address used for your Sounra account. Use the subject "Delete my Sounra account" and include only the account email address. Never send a password, payment card number, government ID, or authentication code.

Monkweh Studios may request limited information needed to verify that the requester controls the account before processing the deletion.

What deletion covers

Deletion removes the Sounra account and associated private profile, journal, reflection, community, and uploaded account content managed by Sounra. Content belonging to another member in a shared space is retained, while the departing member is removed from that space.

Records that may be retained

Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, dispute handling, or moderation integrity. Retained records are restricted to those purposes and removed when the applicable need or legal retention period ends.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting a Sounra account does not automatically cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel active subscriptions in the store account that was used to purchase them.
